About

solid right hand, good meter and timing. have done warped tour and played hundreds of shows. have recorded 4 cd's over a long period with the same band. not self produced, garage recordings, but real producers, real studios. I write, can sing back up and am capable of lead vocal, but I am not a frontman. I do not have a "typical" style or sound, I have a professional attitude, work well with others, and am a team player. not interested in drama, drugs or ego. have played at house of blues, galaxy theater, the grove, as well as every bar and club in southern california.
am interested in joining an established band, but will consider forming bands as well.
i am interested in fast, aggressive music, punk, metal or thrash. nothing too technical or overly complicated arrangements, but not mindlessly simple either. my writing style tends to incorporate all three but I can lean in whatever direction that best suits the band. my goal would be to add to the band, not change it.
I have zero interest in playing oldies, playing in cover bands, or playing in tribute bands. Original music only, There is nothing better than writing a song and playing it. I know a lot of people who like to do covers, and more power to them, but it is not for me.
you do not have to be a signed, touring, national act to contact me. the music and the members matter to me most. I would rather stand behind and fully support a band that I believe in, even if it does not "make it", rather than go through the motions with a band I dont like and members I cant stand, just for the money.
It has to be fun or I am just not interested. success and money are great, but I wont sell out to get it.

Influences

I dont know that I take anything from or am influenced by what I listen to. I am more influenced by who I am playing with at the time. but I listen to a wide variety of music from slayer to flogging molly to tsol to bluegrass.
i am not interested in atonal music, I like a melody line. it does not have to be pretty, just something that people will remember when they leave the show.

not all of my music is that fast, but is a good example of my energy. I can bring that energy to a metal, punk or thrash band.
