** WE NEED A SINGER!! **
My band Audible Envy are looking for a dedicated front man/woman ready to hit the ground running in a project primarily focused on 90's and other more modern pop hits juiced up with loud guitars and heavy drums as well as keeping those crowd-pleaser 80's and some 70's stuff in the mix as well.
We have widely been regarded by both bar owners and patrons as Birmingham’s premier 90’s cover rock band. We REALLY want to focus on helping set us apart from numerous other cover bands around town with simply "adequate" vocals and instrumentation. No one gets told they’re the best by being adequate and we need a frontman who strives to be more than adequate.
I primarily handle all backup vocals and have a strong ear for harmonies. Our other guitar player John Carruyo sings backup on several songs as well.
Right now we're not looking for serious travel commitments (meaning we all have a full time jobs and cannot afford to play out during the week out on the road far away from town) but we are all for playing gigs in central Alabama on the weekends and the 4 of us are okay with playing 2, maybe 3 weekends a month.
We know a good 3~4 hours worth of 90's and 2000's pop/rock/metal covers as well as most of the typical 80's cover tunes and have plenty of reliable, professional grade gear (tube amps, guitars, mics, cables, cabs, etc). We also have a full PA and capability to run IEM’s if you have them.
All you need to bring is a mic and energy to the stage.
