I started playing drums when I was about three years old. I have spent most of my time playing drumset and all types of auxiliary percussion, along with rudimental, concert, and marching percussion. I have been teaching music and percussion since 1996 and writing music since 1994.
I have been involved in marching percussion and drumline most of my life. I was a drumline member and captain in my high school drumline and a wgi independent percussion ensemble. I was also a member of a drum and bugle corps that was ranked in the top 6 in the world.
I am currently the director of percussion education and composer for a high school, along with being a music composer and consultant for other high schools, universities and ensembles.
