I'm a solid and experienced rock/blues drummer with over 20 years playing in and out and out and about the Houston music scene. I have pro gear, an easy going pro attitude and somewhat decent vocal abilities (some lead, some harmonies). I've played in and filled in with several rock and blues bands over the years and I'm currently looking to hookup with some solid "above average, pro attitude" players who want to have some fun getting out on the weekends playing some tight, solid butt kickin' rock n' roll while also having a handful of tasty originals thrown in for flavoring. Players who are serious about music and are opened mined enough to step out side the box and try to play a little more than just all the same old played out standards.

"Been there, done that, got the T-shirts!!"

When I say "step out side the box" songs that come to mind for me are songs like - Zeppelin "The Lemon Song, In My Time of Dying, The Rover, Tea for One, Night Flight, Hots for Nowhere, The Song Remains the Same, Candy Store Rock, Custard Pie", Bad Co. "Running with the Pack, Rock Steady, Gone, Gone, Gone, Burrin' Sky", Hendrix "Dolly Dagger, Castles Made of Sand, If 6 was 9, Manic Depression, Machine Gun", Pat Travers "Snortin' Whiskey, Boom, Boom Out Go the Lights", Skynard "Needle and the Spoon, On the Hunt, Whiskey Rocka Rolla, Working for the MCA", Blackfoot "Highway Song, Train, Train, Wishing Well", ZZ Top "Heard It on the X, Nasty Dogs & Funky Kings, Master of Sparks, Just Got Paid", Aerosmith "Train Keep a Rollin', Last Child, Toys in the Attic, Uncle Salty, Mama Kin", Nugent "Stormtroopin', Great White Buffalo, Free for All, Just What the Doctor Order", Trower "Day of the Eagle, Too Rolling Stoned, Bridge of Sighs, Little Bit of Sympathy", Deep Purple "Hush, Burn, Lazy, Woman from Tokyo" Humble Pie "I Don't Need No Doctor, 30 Days in the Hole, Hot N' Nasty", Grand Funk "Footstompin' Music, Inside Looking Out", April Wine "Roller, I Like to Rock, Sigh of the Gypsy Queen", UFO "Lights Out in London, Too Hot to Handle", Trapeze "Black Cloud, Medusa", Montrose "Rock Candy, Bad Motor Scooter, Thin Lizzy "Jailbreak, The Cowboy Song", Foghat "Slow Ride, Stone Blue" plus so many more.

You get the idea. Try to play some of those cool songs that people know and love, but ones that hardly anybody out there seems to try and play anymore.

I'm looking to play at least 3 or more gigs a month.

Let me know if you are interested in talking further.
