I have been playing drums for 28 years, 25 of those with various bands. I have carried lead vocal duties for the last 15 years. I am a very good vocal style mimic; Bon Jovi, Mellencamp, Petty etc. Just finished the Mardi Gras season of 4 parades with the Bayrunners.

Fairhope - Order of Mystic Magnolias':Best truck band: MM — This category is a tossup between the Bay Runners for their rendition of "Born to Be Wild" and the Cool Rays for their version of Kid Rock's "All Summer Long." Both bands displayed expert musicianship and festival-appropriate costumes.

Best use of an Afro Wig: This award goes to the drummer of the Bay Runners, who, between songs, was able to throw beads to the yearning crowds during the Mystic Magnolias parade.
