SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.ABOUT
I've been playing drums on and off for more than 35 years in a wide variety of music, ranging from punk to lounge jazz with a lot in between. I've been involved with well known musicians locally and even with international recognition. I can submit videos and professional recordings by request.
I have a day job that gives me financial stability that I have no plans to quit, so unfortunately if you contact me "promising" a Nashville/Memphis contract or an "offer" to play in the next Bonaroo, I've been there (not in Memphis or Bonaroo, but in the world of unfulfilled promises of promoters swearing that if you sign with them they will bring you the moon so to speak), and that is not what is going to hook me in your project.
I don't want to be a Rock Star, I just want to play good music with people that, like me, strive to do their best, even when perhaps the audience is not aware of such nuances.

Influences
It changes, there are so many wonderful drummers around, I try to absorb as much as I can from them. Starting I was heavily influenced by Steve Gadd, Vinnie Colaiuta, Neil Peart, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, Stewart Copeland, to name a few, but now I grab tricks even from a 3 years old baby just banging his toys.

Inspiration in FM Genre: Jazz
Soft Jazz that I recorded back in the 90s. Not the only style that I can play though.
