Serious drummer looking to play with a committed band. I would like to play 1-2 weekend gigs a month or possibly more. I've played with a local band, which consisted of family members off and on for many years. But, my most recent gig was with the USA Band. We played County, County Rock, Southern Rock and some older rock. I was with them for about seven months, but had to quit due to my work schedule. I returned and played with them for another four months. We are not currently playing. I've also filled in with other local bands.
I'm a simple kind of drummer-not flashy. I'm solid and play in the pocket. I like to sing, but don't do it too often. I'm energetic and like to have fun when playing live.

I like all kinds of music, but tend to stay away from blues and bluegrass if possible.

Equipment List:

Old Mapex Orion set from 1991. (Man I feel old). Also have a Roland V-drum set. Now have some new Sabian Hi-Hats,crashes and ride. Have an Iron Cobra Double-Bass pedal. A Tama Starclassic Snare. Would really like a new acoustic kit, but that will come some day.. Baby steps
