I was playing with a band called RAMBLIN FEVER BAND when I was playing in Kokomo IN. I have been playing country music for over 30 years. I started playing rhythm guitar 30 years ago as a hobby and in last 14 years I picked up the Pedal Steel Guitar. I started on Steel Guitar Practicing for 8 to 10 hours a day and kept it up for about 6 months. I now practice about 3 days out of the week. My wife has since let me leave door of music room open while i practice,LOL. Still learning but have gotten proffecent in the ability to play most country songs. Strongest with ballads but able to work out fills or turn arounds with little practice. Enjoy Older Country sounds and letting steel show it's expressions. I also enjoy singing but my interest lays in playing my Steel. I don't mind doing a few songs at a gig but more interested in just playing instrument.I have been with a Band that backs up a new Nashville Recording Artist by Name of CALVIN RAINWATER and has a new EP out called SINNER AND SAINTS

i love the Steel sounds of John Huey,Don Helms, Paul Franklin, and Mike Johnson. the artists that i enjoy playing steel with are George Strait, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, and many more that stay true to country sound.
