I'm a drummer and this will be my third band.
Back in early 2005 I created a band called Sanity Check. I was lucky to find a lady who loved to sing the blues and rock with a bit of a Bonnie Raitt sound, a lead guitarist that would never stop building his skills and was a great improv jammer, a bassist with a library in his head 100 miles long and guy who came later that sang his ass off.
Unfortunately, nothing that good can last forever and life changes for myself and needs for others broke us up. I like to think it was an experience none of us will ever forget.
Now, having moved into a new area and immediately having met a great vocalist who needs to sing her heart out and a keyboardist with also great vocals, I must see if I can do it all again. We're starting from scratch here, but I like our chances. Living in a rural area of PA can be a challenge, but I think we'll find mates who have a good commitment.
