Hi, I’m looking to from a band where the priority is the song, the pocket and the groove. The band has an unpretentious approach to playing songs that transcend genre who enjoys an eclectic blend of 60’s R&B, Austin sounds, rockabilly, west side blues, Memphis soul, twang, garage…if you get it, you get it. There may be a Lumineers songs or Ray Lamontagne. Not looking for classic rock.

Challenges in the past have been members who like this music but eventually began to suggest songs by Cream, Grateful Dead, Floyd, Allman Brothers, Hendrix, Eagles, etc. There is a place for all that classic rock stuff, but I like throwing curve balls and playing some originals.

Currently have me as singer an rhythm guitar, would need drummer and another guitar player. So
