About

I've been playing guitar for close to seven years. I can play the occasional lead, but to be honest they usually aren't that inspired or interesting, so I tend to stick to the rhythm role in serious bands. When it comes to music, I listen mostly to heavy metal, but I've never really had the chops for it, so I am looking for something more in the Hard rock or punk area.

As far as skill goes go, I don't pretend to be the best guitarist in the world, far from it. I do the basics, but I feel like I do them well. I am an energetic performer who would rather put on a good show than hold a guitar clinic.

For songwriting, I tend to be a good resource when putting together original material. I am good at adding the occasional riff or fleshing out lyrics, but I am rarely one who comes in with my own material.

I am looking to find a band that has interest in playing some shows locally. At this time I am not looking to make a career out of music, but I am able to put together a significant amount of time for a band.

Influences

The music I listen to is, quite frankly, very different from what I play, so it's hard to list accurate influences. If I could play in any sort of band it would be a punk band with some Irish folk influence, like the Dropkick Murphys
