Lee Gattenby is a life long musician and has studied under great musicians all over the world. Lee's first instructor was Gary Larson, where he learned music for over 7 years as a percussionist.

During his military career as commissioned Army Officer. He was fortunate enough to be stationed in areas rich in musical styles and history. This included the home of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky (a stones throw from Nashville, Tennessee) and Osan AFB, South Korea.When stationed near Nashville, Lee learned various folk style (Travis picking method) and Southern style Rock & Roll. While stationed in Korea, Lee studied under classical guitarist Ted Kim (fondly known by servicemen and women as Mr. Potato).

Lee has also received instruction by well known Christian guitarist John Standefer. Lee is currently an advanced student of guitar virtuoso Tom Hess and has been accepted into his 2007 Music Careers Mentoring Program.

Lee has been playing on church worship teams since 1982. He is still an active church musician with emphasis in youth outreach. His home church is the Soldotna Church of God.

Lee has been in three bands over the past ten years, Arizen, Savant and is currently gigging with Danger Pig.

Lee now most of his musical energies furthering the advancement of eager learners and lending his expertise to various musical project in the area.
