Ive been playing bass guitar for almost 25 years now. When I got started I Learned to read and write music and I took about 2 years of blues lessons here in Lancaster,Pa. I'm a very easy going person and take song writing and performing seriously. I mean,I don't throw a fit if something doesnt go right, but I like to work at rehearsals to ensure good music and a good show.
I'm a rocker from the heart. Onstage...Im an entertainer. Whatever it takes on my behalf to make great music and a rockin show.
I'm currently seeking a fulltime position in a rockin band that has at least managment/promotion,label or label interest and a touring schedule.
I am willing to relocate for the right opportunity (nationally or internationally). I have an ass load of stage performance,a fair amount of studio recordings, live recordings, traveling for shows. Have worked with professional photographers, managment and promoters.
The 1st song you hear on my profile player on this page & my Myspace page is from the most recent band I recorded with. The band was called "Crash Down Sky"(no site avail). The song is titled "Tears For You".
Be sure to check out my Myspace profile for my history of bands I've been a part of.(www.myspace.com/michaeldutch) I have highlighted links within my profile bio.
I don't pop,I don't slap...I'm not Billy Sheean or Les Claypool,but...I play a mean 4 string,down n dirty. Familiar with various tunings.
I guess I would have to say that Hard core, heavy metal, melodic rock,rock-n-roll,punk,metal,rock is all my "forte'"...so to speak.

Somber - Original metal - 1989-1994
