ABOUT

Over the last 50 years, I have played country bass in all four corners of the USA and in several European countries (including a U.S. Embassy), and in bands that opened for several major recording artists on tour through Europe during the '70's.
In 1988, I co-founded the New Hampshire Country Music Association and was served on its Board of Governors for nine years including two years as it's Treasurer and directed their Annual Awards Show for six years at an 880-seat theater. I've played in numerous Country bands including a four-year stint with a house band at the most popular country music nightclub in New Hampshire. I was inducted into the NHCMA Hall Of Fame in 2000.
I use the Nashville Numbering System and have a repertoire of about 120 (mostly Classic Country) songs to contribute.
I've learned the music business well enough to not be dependent on it for a living (I've always kept my day job). So I'm looking for like-minded musicians to play with a few times a month in the Port Orange area, and I'm often available for short-notice fill-ins as a substitute bass player. I'm currently playing every Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the Port Orange American Legion. 386-451-8222.
