ABOUT

David was the composer/actor/musician for the Indiana Repertory Theatre's 2006 production of Huckleberry Finn. He also appeared in The Grapes Of Wrath and Inherit The Wind during the 2005 IRT season. A native of Missouri, he attended I.U. School of Music. Later he studied improvisation with renowned jazz educator Jamey Aebersold. He has recorded with John Mellencamp, Tim Grimm, Ray Boltz, Carrie Newcomer, and toured with Old-time fiddler extraordinaire Brad Leftwich. He currently performs with Craig Brenner & The Crawdads, a Bloomington-based New Orleans R&B–Zydeco band as well as singer/songwriter Tim Grimm.

David's "primary" instrument is piano accordion. However, he is a skiller hamonica player and bonafide Old Time Music guitarist having performed with Brad Leftwich & Linda Higginbotham as well as the infamous Hawk Hubbard & The Skirtlifters.
