About

Looking for a band or musicians to start a band with. Interested in playing some Funk/Blues/Rock, with some Reggae and Soul and psychadelic feel to it, not necessarily trying to strictly play one style or genre. Improvisation and the Unknown are what I love about great music and great musicians. I love to JAM, and create the unexpected. Looking to find people to jam and have fun with begin/join a band that rocks out originals along with jamming out some amazing covers. Although I began playing music through percussion, I play mostly guitar now. Have also sang vocals in past bands. Looking to move out of the SW Florida area so the right opportunity somewhere else is cool with me. I travel all over the state.

Influences

Anything that rocks and grooves from the Beatles and Hendrix, to the Grateful Dead, Phish, Medeski, the Meters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Sublime, Deep Banana Blackout, Eric Clapton, Keller Williams, Pink Floyd, Widespread Panic, Slightly Stoopid, Bob Marley, Radiohead, Rage, Nine Inch Nails, Galactic, String Cheese Incident, Robert Randolph, STP, Pearl Jam, the Black Keys, Les Claypool, Tool, Nirvana, Steve Kimock, Phil Lesh, Particle, MOFRO, the Roots, De La Sol, SOJA, Herbie Hancock, Soulive, STS9, Black Sabbath, the Doors, Dirty Dozen Brass Band... if its good musicianship I love it!

Equipment List

Paul Reed Smith electric, Fender Princeton 65, Gibson Les Paul '69 goldtop (don't use for gigs too often...) several effects pedals, Yamaha mixer and PA with mics and cables, Pearl Export drumset in storage with Zildjian cymbals.
