I've Played lead/rhythm guitar for 25+ yrs (been a guitar teacher for 4 years). Been into singing for 10+yrs (including 2 yrs of formal vocal lessons) and really into a lot of vocals and vocal harmonizing. Into playing a wide eclectic range of styles and instruments, and can write appropriately to whatever style songwriting/arranging (be it just stuff focusing on vocal oriented songs, fusion, etc. Basically whatever the song requires). My focus lately has been more on songwriting (both vocal & instrumental)with an emphasis on non-standard chord structures and arrangements with lots of musical dynamics, arranging, etc.
Looking for a drummer, bassist, and keyboardist/sampler who also sing, to make ORIGINAL dynamic, creative, melodic, and unpredictable ear candy jems that defies musical boundaries and categories. With everyones input it should turn out to be very interesting. Into possibly doing recording/several gigs here n there project. Currently have original songs in a variety of styles (over a dozen) and professional recording gear. Looking for other players who have ideas/songs to mesh an extrememly WIDE variety of music. Love music that is soulful, technical, simple n sparse, intense, outside, experimental, improvisational, and most importantly with beautiful melodies and phrasing that you can walk away humming or banging your head to. Absolutely unafraid to take chances in a jazz like mentality where nothing is set and you just fly by the seat of your pants. Currently recording in my home studio on a digital audio workstation.
