As of writing this bio, the band ECHOES OF RUIN is seeking a vocalist. A complete album's worth of music is written.

There are high hopes that the completion of the lineup will prove to be the true launching point of the band's life. The band's music fits in with the likes of heavy metal as it is currently known, at times with the brutality of LAMB OF GOD and adept guitar work of PANTERA and the listenability and emotion of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE or ALL THAT REMAINS. The influence of bands like METALLICA and UNEARTH and SOILWORK and IN FLAMES have their moments in the music written to date.

But influences aside, ECHOES OF RUIN pay homage to their musical heroes more in feel than in the music itself, which can be described best as heavy, complex, and emotional.
