I love to sing anything country, mostly the newer stuff (last 5 to 25 yrs or so), but I’m a big fan of classic country too. I have developed my own style and sound vocally, and I have found that most listeners love it. I don’t play an instrument (I really wish I did), I just sing. I'm a songwriter too, I have written almost 100 songs, a few, I feel could easily be hits if recorded well and given airplay.
I have won large singing contests, some of them against local bands...I have been offered a chance to be produced by a very famous group (they have sold millions and have had many top 10 hits), they would like me to send in a demo before they take the next step. My Friend's Father is their tour manager. I need a Great Country Band to back me up, and possibly to take on the road, depending on the deal I work out with the group. But even if I can get a strong country lead guitar player to help get this started I would be grateful. I would like to play around town too. I can start out as background...I don’t care. I just love to sing!
