I love playing the bass and I love playing my keyboard/bass pedal rig too. It's taken some getting used to but you see, well the idea is expressed best in a line I could use ....
"Hey, wanna come over to my house and see my really huge organ?" Yes, it was a biggie, with full theater pedals and I loved jamming on it though it was my Dad's and his usual was, "YOU wanna play one? Get one of your own!"
I also play guitar, pedal steel and still some baritone horn.

EQUIPMENT
LIVE RIG 1
PA
4) JBL E-140 spks in ¾ Russian Birch Thiel cabinets
2) JBL 2441 2" drivers on JBL BiRadial Horns
Bi-amped, Lo = 1000 watts (@ 8) Hi = 240 watts (@ 8)
All power amps Yamaha Commercial
Into the above awesome PA and whatever board or computer that is being used, I plug my Pandora in stereo. I have a setting I've tweaked that I like a lot. This setup is crushing and delicate if that makes sense. I can not stress enough the quality of sound I get from this rig.
LIVE RIG 2
I have a "head" amp rack that contains an Ampeg tube pre-amp, alleged front end of SVT, a Behringer Bass VAmp and a 320 watt/channel Mackie M-1200 power amp. I like it but it's heavy.
so, I often use a Carvin BX-500 Bass amp (500 watts into 8)
into 2) Birch Thiel cabinets loaded with JBL E-140 woofers
This rig works well enough for small to medium rooms
