I'm a bassist and singer with over 20 years of experience, I studied classical guitar for 8 years and flute for two. I'm not much of a front man, so I'm not usually the "lead singer". Since I write songs, however, I am used to playing the bass and lead vocals simultaneously from time to time, and I believe a band is better off if they have more than one singer. I'm happy to play covers but always prefer to perform original material.

As a bassist, I have what my bandmates always call "busy fingers". I believe the bass lays the rhythm foundation, but by no means should it just stay there. I like having the bass up front in the mix and keeping the guitar on its toes.

As a vocalist, I have a high range and clarity, and I tend to work better in duos or harmonies, but often find myself taking the role of lead vocalist, which is fine and I like to do on occassion - I always prefer sharing lead responsilities. Additionally, I speak English, Spanish and Italian - you never know when that could be useful.

I would like to find a project that is somewhat serious, but clear on its purpose. To be 100% clear: I'm all about being big on the bar scene, but I have a day job and it will always be my priority.

Genres: Classic rock, folk, jazz, progressive rock (not too intense, though, please), mixed with alternative and a touch of modern rock. Throw in a little latin rock, ska, and merengue for spice, and don't forget the classical music (definitely). I confess to having played in an acid jazz band once, and I promise to never do it again ;D.
