I have played guitar. bass, and drums since age 13, and professionally (for $$) since I was fifteen. I have played and recorded with many bands, and recorded an LP with Santa Fe reggae band Juice, (Domestic Reggae, 1980). I have been in hard rock bands, C&W bands, country/rock, blues/rock, and jazz ensembles in more bars and lounges than I care to count.
Nowadays I am mostly interested in world music instrumental styles, blending acoustic and electronic instruments with percussion and other cultures' music. I am dedicated to creating original music that is exploratory in nature, and "spontaneous composition".
Most recently I played a solo guitar gig for 2 1/2 years that ended in July 2018, and a brief stint followed in a trio playing retirement residences in Spring 2019... obviously the New Plague has removed any new gigging opportunities, so I have been dedicating myself - somewhat - to recording. It's just not the same as interacting with other like-minded musicians!
