I've been playing the cello for 26 years and have enjoyed it. Playing with other musicians is a passion of mine. Although I was ranked 4th in the state of Idaho as a cellist way back in 2004, it wasn't solo playing that drives me to continue to perform. After primarily geared towards classical music until the end of high school, I began to perform more with Christian bands and other independent bands.

Influences
Indirectly, Janos Starker was a primary influence in my education and training on the classical side. I typically do improv with other musicians. For me it's a way to express myself using the instrument and it is something I actively pursue.
