ABOUT

We want write and perfom original music. I worked with two singer/songwriters in the last 5 years. Both bands were making progress but due to unforseen events, the bands stoped practicing. I have played at coffee houses, county fairs, bars and performed both original and cover music. I have little intereste in cover/tribute bands. I want to write, arrange and produce music that crosses genres. I have been working out of town for the past three years and only recently became serious about playing with people in SLC. I have been jamming and recording ideas with two drummers. I would very much like to get back to writing and recording finished products.

I am dependable, stable and respectful of other musician's time and energy. I have a mature pro-attitude absent the drama one might expect. I am married with two girls (12 and 17). I have created a nice studio in the basement with all instruments and tools necessary to record with Cakewalk Sonar. I have also been working with other soft-synths and looping software for sampling beats and sounds. I write music, lyrics and play all instruments though I am best with guitar - lead electric and acoustic.

Influences

Anything from dub step, modern rock and classics. Bands that may have influenced me: Texas-style blues guitarists (SRV), country-rock, classic rock (ACDC), fusion (Jeff Beck), classic rock (Hendrix), metal (Satriani and Marty Freedman), Jazz (George Benson), Grunge (all the usual suspects), RHCP, Pearljam, Kings of Leon, Police, The Chemical Bros, Dub Step in general and Hip-hop to some degree. I enjoy anything that is well produced as long as it's not scream-o or old-school and too corney to listen to today (including almost anything radio before the 1990's).

Members Of Band

Drummer - two possible at this time. guitar & base and synth are all me at the moment. I have made some connections with two base players.
