The original rockabilly band Whiskey Kill from the seacoast area is looking for a permanent drummer. The band is well-established and plays car shows, festivals, reputable bars and opens for national acts 2 to 3 times a month. We are preparing to record a new DIY CD and have a full gig schedule, so you will need to learn 2+ hours of original material quickly. The band books exceptional shows in NC, CT, MA, RI. NY, VT, NH, and ME, but it is original music and usually only plays one or twp sets. Therefore, players can expect to earn $20.00-$50.00 a gig. This is not a band that earns great riches. That said, applicants must be top notch drummers who can move from a train beat, to swing, to a shuffle, to a traditional rockabilly beat seamlessly. The band is professional, adaptable, and dependable. Whiskey Kill meets amazing people, has a stellar reputation, and has a lot of fun making great music and entertaining dedicated fans.
