About

Elizabeth is currently residing in New York City. Although having her BFA in Musical Theatre, Elizabeth has a contemporary pop/rock sound similar to Kelly Clarkson but is also skilled at imitating/reinventing classic rockers such as CCR, Jefferson Airplane, etc. She is able to switch between songs like Katy Perry's "Firework" acoustically to a rocker "Alone" by Heart to a jazzy standard such as "My Funny Valentine."

Influences

Many of Elizabeth's influences come from the 60s-early 70s era. She enjoys the simplicity of a live acoustic show. Recently she has started listening to indie bands such as Florence and the Machine, Feist, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, as well as Elizabeth and the Catapults. Along with the over abundance of musicals she has in her personal collection, you will also find "greats" such as (and in no particular order of preference) -- Aerosmith, AC/DC, Rufus Wainwright, Beatles, John Mayer, Billy Joel, Queen -- along with many other odd varieties.

Equipment List

Although she has a free guitar that she received from her brother for a Christmas present, Elizabeth has only been playing a short while. She continues to practice to build her confidence to perhaps someday step solely to the mic and be able to accompany herself but until now she has a killer pop/belt that extends to a G4 with ease. However she needs YOUR help in order to fully realize the accompaniment.
