ABOUT

I have played semi-professionally for 50+ years and done everything from folk to jazz to rock. I have even done some musical theater. My goals are - 1) I want to be part of something that moves both the performers and the audience. 2) Everyone involved should be on the same page in every aspect of the project. 3)Playing music should be financially rewarding. That doesn't mean it has to support bandmembers from the start, but, it should provide enough value to be reasonably compensated for. I am primarily interested in original projects as I also write music. I am open to covering other people's songs as long as it is done in a unique and creative way. Influences

I am influenced by everything I have ever heard. It doesn't mean I can play anything, but, there are elements of many genres in my playing. This diversity includes Led Zeppelin, The Carpenters, Mozart, Johnny Cash, Miles Davis, The Monkees...you get the idea.

EQUIPMENT

Currently I have one pro-level kits - Custom Keller shells. I also have a kit that I can keep permanently in a rehearsal space. Cymbals are a mix of Sabian, Zildjian, and Paiste.
