looking for a dedicated Christian band in the KC metropolis. I like heavy, alternative, progressive rock. The above playlist are all samples of projects or rough drafts of projects I've done. Also there is a lot of material in the above clips that I wrote.
Yes it's true I am 45 - I'm open minded and play with talented individuals of all ages without judging them; they say they guess at me being early 30's, not sure how long that will last but... thank you Lord.

I would like a mix of metal/rock/groove, meets prog, meets post-hardcore... elements of technical prowess from each member; Music that "takes the listener places" mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I want to be a part of a big, loud production, a band with vision, backing and selling shows (i.e., drawing crowds)

Influences

I grew up on rock, metal and prog rock - drummers like john bonham, vinny and carmine appice, scott rockenfield, tommy aldridge, neal peart, nicko mcbrain, mike zonder, mike portnoy, shannon larkin, lars ulrich, etc.,etc. (I like a lot of new rock as well... breaking benjamin, switchfoot, write this down, nine lashes, secret & whisper, narnia (new line up), etc.).

I enjoy syncopated, off time, dynamic drummers who tend to laden their music with texture... I gravitate toward heavy music the most; however, I enjoy bands like dave mathews and kings of leon too.
