My music is difficult to classify because my tastes are seemingly schizophrenic. I'm drawn both to hard rock and jazz sounds and much in between. And, though it's out of vogue, I devote countless hours to scales. Consequently, I'm able to play super-sonic stretch finger legato phrases a la Al Di Meola or Allan Holdsworth. Most importantly, I hate music that's trite, banal, and predictable and those with whom I play should have a good general education and be avid readers.
