ABOUT

Most of my musical experiences in the 30 years of drumming have been primarily in different churches with different musicians that vary in styles. As far as I'm concerned music is music and I love to feed off other musicians and feel what's going on musically. I'd love to get together and write some great music that sounds and feels good. Let's see what happens!

Influences

My influences would definitely be the Dave Matthews band, cold play, steely Dan and so many more. Anything with Carter beauford and Dennis chambers. I love funk, contemporary jazz, NuJazz and traditional, fusion such as spyra gyra, the yellow jackets and cab. I like rock and metal. My style is a fusion of these different styles. It doesn't stop there. Im sure there is a lifetime of music that
I've listened to that has had some influence in my musical abilities.

EQUIPMENT

I have a beautiful Dw maple kit with an 8", 10", 12", and 16" rack toms. 22" kick and 14" maple snare. My cymbals are a 20" A custom ride, 16" and 17" K customs. 6" A custom splash, 12" AAX sabian studio crash, 18" oriental china. treeworks chimes and djembe. I sometimes like to incorporate digital sounds via a trigger using an Alesis DM5. Whatever I can use to compliment a song I'll try it. Roland SPD-sx. Mesa Boogie walkabout scout. 4 String Ibanez spalted maple bass. Djembe.
