Hey guys! We're SOLAFIDE, a crossbreed / hybrid of many metal styles combined into great music. We've got death metal, metal core, hardcore, tech / groove metal, and some slam in there. We all love our music, and we all LOVE God. The foundation for the band is centered on spreading the gospel and love of Christ with the power and passion (or aggression) of that awesome metal music that we all know and love. Plenty of fast double bass, grooves and heavy slamming riffs with good accents and good song structure/composures. Influences of music is For Today, Wolves at the Gate, Pantera, Between the Buried and Me, August Burns Red, Black Label Society, Saving Grace

So, if you're a vocalist that can bring the heavy scream/mid/low vocals, and also carry some powerful cleans that wants to sing about Jesus Christ and the saving grace that he's brought to your life (and ours) look no more for ministry opportunity. We've also got a bill being put together with several other Christian metal acts. (Guitar skills are a plus but definitely not required)

Requirements***************************

1. MUST be SOLID in your faith, and practicing it. We're all men in recovery, and we practice spiritual disciplines every day. You should too.

2. MUST have a heart to do ministry through music, singing about the gospel of Christ and the marvelous power of God in your life and the life of those around you! THIS BAND IS SOLELY BASED UPON THE MESSAGE.

3. Your role in the band is essential for it to function as a ministry outlet in public appearance. While your outward appearance doesn't matter to us, your lifestyle does. No drunks / active users of drugs. We've all been through the ringer with addictions and its consequences, and we don't have time for that.
4. Looking for an age of between 18-30 (though this is not set in stone, we are all in our mid twenties)

5. Great attitude and brother-in-arms oriented heart. We've got a band for music, yes, but we also strive to be brothers and share life in community. This is not your opportunity to be a rock star, it's our opportunity to serve God and give up our talents for the glory of his name!

6. Be able to practice twice a week. We currently jam at Music Lab, so if you're hurting on the P.A part, you can use theirs though we would expect you eventually to get your own.
