ABOUT

I am originally from the Madison, WI area, but currently live in Nashville, TN I was classically trained in college (soprano), but found that I much preferred to write contemporary songs, and got my start by leading worship in the church. I graduated from Ripon College in 2008 where I self-designed my Music-Entrepreneurship Major. I did this so that I could learn how to better market and manage myself as a performing songwriter. I am very passionate about music and have done a variety of recording projects with other artists. I also had about a 10 month stint singing with a country band that gigged around 40 times a year. I am always willing to learn more about other opportunities/collaborate on projects, so please don't hesitate to get in contact with me! Influences

I love music with great harmonies and tight vocals. Anything with a strong melody and lyrics that evoke emotion, inspire someone to thought or life change. (may sound cheesy- but I believe this to be an ideal).

Essentially, I like anything that's melodically/lyrically driven- I like to FEEL the music and the heartbeat of a song.
