Like a wicked good cup of Boston tea, Erin MacKenzie brings the party to all of her shows. Her music and vocal style is a blend of No Doubts Tragic Kingdom and Paramore’s Haley Williams with a dash of originality and a hometown feel. When asked to describe her style of music she responded by saying,”Boston Irish Punk Glam.” When you are at one of her shows you get nothing but vocal theatrics dumped into an ocean good friends, good music, and good times. Erin grew up on the South Shore creating a buzz in the music and drama departments at her schools. She has radiated her smile, personality, and pure sound from stages at Symphony Hall in Boston, Duxbury Performing Arts Center, Shamrock Idol and various auditoriums all over Massachusetts. Miss MacKenzie started singing at the age of 8. “For my first performance EVER I remember worrying about what song I wanted to showcase to the world. After weeks and months of going through cassette tape after cassette tape, I came up with the perfect song…’Hit Me Baby One More Time’ by Britney Spears.” Currently this HUGE Red Sox fan takes time away from Fenway Park to be a part of the artist development and sound engineering programs at Bristol Studios in Boston.
