Exiles On Main Street is being reformed. We are seeking new members. If you can perform the role of Keith Richards or Charlie Watts, please contact us and we can set an audition slot. This is a full tribute band,
Specifically, for each of the roles, you MUST be able to play your instrument in the style of the player you are portraying.
For Keith, this means you play the music in the tunings he does, capoed at the correct fret. It means you either have, or will acquire, a blonde Tele (like Micawber) and other similar gear.
For Charlie, this means you either have or are willing to acquire a Gretsch drum kit and play with same idiosyncrasies as he does (no hi-hat on snare beats, etc)
Players who look more like the role will be given preference over players who don't.
We are in negotiations with management and booking agents who want to put us in casinos and the like. We just need to put the band back together. We expect that you are a professional and will approach this with the same intensity and joy that the current members have.
