About
Powerful blues harp player and blues lead vocalist in the Little Walter harp/Muddy Waters vocal tradition. Also an excellent harmonica player in all other styles. And a very competent keyboardist/synthesist/programmer, bass guitarist, electric violinist, background vocalist, drummer/percussionist. Berklee grad, composer, arranger and music technology expert (25 years as a Pro Sound/Musical Instrument Industry professional). Have played in everything from Polka bands to heavy metal bands, from all-original bands (in which I co-wrote) to all-cover bands and blues bands.
I am currently committed to a gigging psychedelic jam-band called "Box of Nails" based in Concord/Bow that performs extended, original versions of 60's classic rock, alt-modern rock, and blues. We also do a lot of originals (about 40%). I'm also thinking about starting or joining a traditional electric blues band on lead & backing vocals, harmonicas, keyboards and switch to bass as needed.
