I am a drummer and producer originally from Brazil, living in LA. Being also a multi-instrumentalist and composer allows me to bring a combination of sound rhythm grounding as well as harmonic and melodic sensibilities to my music making. I am a graduate in Drum Performance from Cornel School of Contemporary Music in Los Angeles, CA. I read music notation and I can write and read lead sheets and drum charts. My sight reading is moderate. I can comfortably play to a click both live and in the studio. My favorite styles are West African, jazz-fusion, funk and rock. I am open to music projects that mixes styles.
