Hey everyone, my names Smokin' Joe and I play lead guitar. My dream is to go big in a metal band as the lead guitarist. I want to make music my career and have my metal band be known as icons in the history of metal. It isn't a huge deal if we don't go big, being local is fine, but I reeeeeeeally want music to be my career and to go big. I am available for going to gigs and I am always dedicated to band practices and meetings. I have played publically before about 5 or 6 times but they were all pro-bono (talent shows and sh*t). I took a music theory course last year in school and have some really cool ideas for guitar harmonization. So like I said, I'm looking for a band to play in and have fun and possibly go big or just stay local, hopefully go big though.

Influences:

My largest influence is Kirk Hammet from Metallica. I am one of the hugest metallica fans on this planet and i listen to them 90% of the time i am listening to music ( the rest is motorhead, zepplin, megadeth, cream, hendrix, and different styles of jazz). So yeah, I get most of my chops from Metallica but I also like to listen to Agony Scene, Eighteen Visions, Atreyu, and Chili Peppers. I've also heard some Avenged Seven Fold and from what I have heard they are very very cool and I want to learn more about them.
