I just stumbled onto this site and figured I'd give it a shot. I would be interested in a goofin' around garage band and if we don't all totally suck, then who knows. I have a real life, so I'm probably NOT the bass player for you serious guys that want to get out and play instantly for peanuts. My long-haired days are behind me and I am a family man. So throwing back a brew is cool, anything else is NOT. But, I'm bored with just playing along with Metallica via the iPod. LOL! So, I'd like to hook on with some like minded individuals who play because they like to, not because they have grand delusions of being the next mega-band.

Influences:

I can play stuff from Metallica, Def Leppard, Lifehouse, Soundgarden, Bush, U2, Kingdom Come, Blink 182, Queensryche, and on and on and on. Basically, if I hear something I like and it's within my ability, I will try to learn it. I cannot play slap bass and I cannot read music.
