I am a 36 year old husband/father/musician who loves everything about live music. From acoustic/unplugged small groups to full on rock your face off live full band shows, you name it, I have done it. I am a vocalist as well as a bass player, so I really enjoy the intimate setting of the acoustic or unplugged set. These sets are a tell all of sorts because you can't hide behind the volume. Influences

Lots. I like, and have played, so many different styles of music, It is hard to say. I love any music with groove. I really enjoy Flea, John Paul Jones, Louis Johnson, Nathan East to name a few, all of which have pretty amazing chops, however, I enjoy them more when they are playing pocket grooves. I am more influenced by bands as a whole. Most of my favorite bands are my favorite because of the total sound rather than one or two peices sticking out. Now that's not to say I don't appreciate a great bass line in a song, because I do, however as a player, I think about what the song needs rather than what chop can I fit in.

EQUIPMENT

Currently I am using 2 Ampeg 6x10 HLF/AV. Ampeg SVP-Pro pre-amp with a Mackie 1400i power amp. I absolutely love Musicman basses. I am using an 01 Stingray 5.
