ABOUT

I'm open to joining an existing band... mix of backup vocals and leads. Rock, Blues.

But here's what I really want: I'm looking to hang out, rehearse (~1x/week), and gig (~1x/6-8 weeks) with down to earth, fun, committed, talented folks.

My 'dream project' is an 'Americana' vibe, with covers of Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welsh, Mumford and Sons, & similar, and Americana takes on rock...think 'Imagine Dragons' with a fiddle.

I love to sing leads, but also to make harmonies (I have to work at those, and might need some vocal focused rehearsals) and am looking to share the stage with similarly inclined/talented musicians.

I play a little guitar, but not usually in public :-).

Located in the Greenbelt, MD area, work in Edgewater, MD and available to travel up to 30 min max from either of those for rehearsals.

Influences

I listen to many genres of music...but primarily folk and rock of all sorts.

My vocals work best with melodic materials from female artists such as Stevie Nicks, Emmy-lou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Indigo Girls, but I can also do justice to most any melody driven material.
