Shawn Baril is an American musician, singer, songwriter, producer. He is known as the vocalist and bass player for the band Forgiving Silence. A co founder of the band established in central Florida.

INFLUENCES:
I was listening to Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk and basically all rock that was to be had. As the decades change my musical tastes took me on different ways and levels... The Clash was very influential and of course Battalion Of Saints, Fear, X, Germs, Circle Jerks, Angry Samoans, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, new metal POD, Hed PE, I mean just to many to list... Oh wait Stone Temple Pilots, Queens Of The Stone Age, Jack White, Buckethead, Primus and so on.

"Jake" Jacob Merrick - lead guitar and vocals
BIO:
24 year old Jake Merrick is an American musician. He is known as the guitarist and backing vocals for Forgiving Silence. His guitar journey started in July of 2019, soon after joining the band in late 2020 Merrick brings his heavy and hard-core roots.

INFLUENCES:
In 2005 emerging from the age of 7 Jake was influenced by many bands including Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Atreyu, and Underoath to name a few. As the years went on his taste for heavy music only grew, James Hetfield of Metallica was a big name influencer as guitar playing goes, along side Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit, Munky and Head from the band Korn who inspired him to incorporate the 7 string guitar.
