Frank Grocholski, more popularly known as Frankie G., received his first guitar at age 3. From that point on he knew he was destined to pursue a career in the music industry. Frankie started writing/recording his own music by the young age of 11, and by the time he reached high school he was teaching private lessons. While at C. Milton Wright High he participated in the All County Jazz Band. Follow high school Grocholski attended Berklee School of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. After leaving Berklee Frankie went on to tour through the United States, as well as Europe and Japan with a variety of bands, including: Plunge (now Cinder Road), The Wes Mcdonough Band, Hindsight, Half Nasty, The Smash, Lucky and the Chain Smokers, 81 South, The Bel Air Community Jazz Band, and many more. Frankie continued his teaching career at the School of Rock where he was the leading guitar instructor on the east coast. Grocholski has also taught at Dayjams/NGW and Music First. Currently Frankie G. teaches private guitar lessons, does live and studio session work, and is involved with several local Baltimore bands DIRT, Eleven 54, and the Frankie G. Band.
My influnces are all over the place. The Beatles, Jellyfish, Albert Lee, Steve Vai, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jackson 5.....There are so many more. Basically anything that has a good melody with really strong supporting harmony.
