We are Freddie & The Rainmakers and we are a Jam band, but our songs are Alternative-Rock. We come from experienced touring bands from Birmingham, Alabama so we are seeking a (serious) skilled guitarist who can do more than just that. Specifically solid backup or maybe even some lead vocals as well as some piano and maybe even congas. We like to get trippy with our jams. Our set is anywhere between 45 minutes or 4 hours depending on how the jam is going. We practice every Sunday with limited exceptions. We are 3 very committed individuals and all work full time jobs/attend colleges with mortgages and bills. Currently, this is a serious hobby for us. We have aspirations of doing music full time, but understand it can't happen overnight. We are in this for the long haul. We do plan to take vacations from work to tour. We consider this band our "golfing on the weekends." Just as a side note since we get asked his question a lot: This isn't a religious band of any sort. We accept anyone and everyone. It's all about the music.
