I have been playing drums since about '02 very seriously. I've taken lessons for years, and feel I have the chops/time/musicianship to pretty much take on most types of gigs. I am ready and willing to play any type of music in front of anyone. I found myself wanting more out of music, and decided to start studying jazz this past summer, and am now a jazz performance major at the University of Lousiville, and study under (among others) Jason Tiemann, Ansyn Banks, Dr. Fred Speck.

Influences:

Elvin Jones, Roy Haynes, Ari Hoenig, Max Roach, PHILLY JOE JONES, Dave Lombardo, BRANN DAILOR, Chris Pennie. This is a short list of drummers, but I also listen to classical music. I love Shastakovich, Bach, James Brown (not classical, I know), Kool and the Gang, Hermeto Pascal, Miles Davis, KMFDM, the Daewoo Lanos and anything that is good. That is not to say that I won't play a rock gig; I love a lot of rock music, and know the format inside and out.

Equipment List:

I recently bought the entire drum stock of Doo Wop shop after they had a fire last September. It is seriously around 30 drum sets.

I have too much to list, but I know how to make my drums sound good.
