Update: We are playing the Break Contest at The Space in Hamden in January for a spot to play at Bamboozle!

My name is DJ Calvar and I am currently the vocalist/drummer for the band Friends of Enemies. We have been together since April of 2011 and have been playing gigs all over the tri-state area. From Toad's place in New Haven, to the Space in Hamden, the Meadowlands Expo Center in New Jersey, and most recently Six Flags in New Jersey. We are not a touring band yet but we hope to be. I drum for the band as well as do most of the studio work along with my younger brother. We record at our little home studio often and we love it the same as playing show. Though I do enjoy playing the drums, it is quite difficult for me sing and play at the same time considering some of the double bass work and off beat progressions we have in some songs. So I have decided to switch back to being lead guitar and we are looking for a drummer. We are extremely easy to work with and are fully committed to our music venture. You don't have to extremely good at drums, but it would be nice if you could play double bass and some pretty cool fills :) The band is made up of my brother, our cousin Jason, and our friends Josh and Mike.
