I listed my commitment as "just for fun" because I work a lot and I really am looking to have some fun playing music. I take the music itself, however, very seriously and really want to create stuff that sounds great that we can play out. I love live shows. I love vocal harmonies and also love mixing in light/heavy elements together. I like to create songs that are more of a journey than the standard verse-chorus-verse-chorus-bridge thang. Influences:

Too many to mention, really. I grew up with Classic Rock and the 80s, then the 90s, and played in a post-punk band for 3 years in Chicago (Three Dollar Bill, I'm G. Rex) but I also love old school swing, big band, folk, classical and funk. I don't really care what genre the music we create fits into; I'd rather just mess around and see what happens. The band that I'm currently listening a lot to is QOTSA; love them.
