I'm a 29 year old musician looking for others to play with. I generally play all kinds of guitar. My influences are blues-based rock, like Aerosmith and Zeppelin, but also more progressive rock like Yes. I don't believe songs need to be 3-5 minutes in length; I believe songs should be exactly as long as they need to be in order to express what they are trying to express, whether it's The Beatles' "I Will" clocking in at 1:46 or Yes' "Ritual" at 21:37. I have a lot of riffs and chord progressions saved up that haven't been made into songs yet, and it would be great to collaborate with others. I'm currently looking for a full-time job, so this would eventually only be an evening/weekend commitment, but if it works, it'll take on a life of its own.
