ABOUT

Bassist for 25 + years, I play upright and electric as well as some guitar, baglama saz, and a little mandolin and ukulele. I have played in many different style bands over the years from heavy to cinematic and have played shows from NYC to L.A., and Toronto to Austin. I am now mostly interested in something more atmospheric/ethereal/experimental, especially blending of different types of music. Something in the Shoegaze/Dream Pop/World Music/Folk Noir/Alt Country realms, or a hybrid of these styles... I am also a big fan of Middle Eastern influenced music, such as Beats Antique, Dead Can Dance, and Niyaz/Azam Ali. I am putting together something different and original (some covers, but redone ), and would like to swap between electric and acoustic mode, and maybe switch instruments around.
