About
OK, here is the concept. I live in Inverness and have been playing guitar and singing for over 40 years. I spent several years as a full-time acoustic beach musician around the St. Petersburg area and also served a term as guitarist for one of the USAF Rock Bands and did the majority of the lead vocals. I have performed in many acoustic duos and trios throughout the years and am very well versed in vocal harmonies. For an acoustic set I perform songs by people such as America, Cat Stevens, Loggins & Messina, Zac Brown, Jimmy Buffett and so on and so on. I am staring an early retirement in the face and am looking to play out fairly regularly in Citrus County and maybe some other locations. I’m not opposed to some travel for a gig if need be. I also play electric guitar and have a very decent rig. So, if the acoustic thing works out there may be an opportunity to play more by putting a small combo together to play mainly fraternal organizations where I happen to have some connections because I used to play them and still know the right people to contact. But that part is a maybe if the person that I end up getting together with agrees. It would be really great if you live in Inverness or close by so that getting together for practice would be more convenient. So hit me up if this sounds of interest to you. The music samples that I have posted on here are not indicitive of what I play now. Those were recorded during my 10 years in Nashville and the songs were written for the country music industry.
