To date I haven't played in a band, but am at the point where I'm getting tired of just practicing and playing to recordings all the time. I am looking for folks in a similar situation who are interested in developing a list of songs with an eye toward possibly performing at a later date -- rather than just getting together to jam (playing songs a couple of times and moving on).
I prefer taking the time to work up a good bass line, which just jamming really doesn’t allow for.
